Old Clee Junior School was inspected in July 2004

- Pupils achieve well in their work and very well in their personal development
- Teaching is good throughout the school
- Pupils learn well and standards in most subjects are above average by the time pupils leave the school
- The school is well led and managed satisfactorily by the head teacher who motivates and influences both staff and pupils effectively
- The school provides good value for money
- There is a high level of commitment to include all pupils in all aspects of the school’s provision
- Pupils with special educational needs are well supported
- Parents have a high regard for the school and the place it has in the local community
- Pupils enjoy school, are proud of it and of the very good support they receive
Old Clee Infants and Nursery School was inspected in February 2006
Ofsted said that:
- Old Clee Infants and Nursery School is a satisfactory school that provides sound value for money
- The parents value the education the school provides for their children
- The children make satisfactory progress
- Teaching is satisfactory
- Provision for children in the Foundation Stage( Nursery and Reception)is satisfactory overall and is good in personal, social and emotional development, communication, language and literacy and mathematical development
- The children feel safe, behave well and enjoy school
- Leadership and Management are satisfactory overall
- The new head teacher’s leadership is good
