Many thanks from Mrs Burnett to everyone who brought in a shoe box for the Operation Christmas Child Appeal.

An excellent total of 157 shoe boxes has been sent out.

The obvious care taken in choosing the presents and wrapping the shoe boxes was wonderful to see.

On Thursday 6th March Old Clee School took part in World Book Day.

The children dressed as characters from a favourite book. Each Year Group voted for the best costume in their class.

This was a new venture held during half term on two days for two hours each day.

It was open to KS2 children offering arts/crafts, badminton, board games including chess and table tennis.

Equal numbers of boys and girls attended each day.

On 24th January 2008 several local schools took part in a pilot scheme in the area for Fischy Music.

Fischy Music have been working regularly in schools since 1998. Currently, a team of five Fischy performers combine in various ways to lead a wide variety of events.
