Happy Memories

I have had a great time at Old Clee. During my time here I have enjoyed all the times where I have a laugh with my mates, got the SATs over and done with and especially enjoyed school trips and things when the class or year group went away somewhere.

People Who've Helped Me

My teachers have helped me A LOT these past few years and I hope that the Havelock teachers are just as caring. My year 3 teacher was Mr Breed and being in that class was fun and made me realise that Old Clee was going to be just as fun or even more.
My year 4 teacher was Mr Woodhouse and that class was really cool as the teacher made me laugh nearly all the time. My year 5 and 6 teacher was Miss Stevens and these years were fun. I felt happy as if I had a problem then I could go to Miss Stevens and tell her knowing that she would be most likely to sort it out but when I was with a male teacher I couldn't tell them certain problems as I would have been too embarrassed!

Trips And Events

My favourite trip was to Sutherland Lodge because all the activities made the fun non-stop. My favourite activity was when we did abseiling and kind of facing my fear for heights was absolutely brill!!

Sport

Some sports are ace and some others can be pretty boring but at Old Clee the sports are always made fun. My favourite sports are badminton, chess, football, table tennis and playing kickball fly and rounders (both types).

Clubs

I haven't done many clubs but there are a few clubs I did like: football with Mr Breed, chess with Mr Ward and I tried to get into badminton but I wasn't good enough.

Friends

My friends at Old Clee are: Evie Hackett, Damion Wicks, Kyle Marrows, Josh Chesman, Chelsea Hanley, Courteney Mussell, Stephanie Archer, Kathryn Hanneman, Lucy Walker, Charlie Deakins, Danielle Mayall, Alex Phillips, Rebecca Pleasants, Isobel Bunn and Jasmine Grierson.

In The Future

In the future I would like to be either a lawyer, a teacher or a police officer. I think it would be really interesting to be a lawyer because if you stand up for someone who is guilty then you have to try your hardest to prove them innocent.

Football , cricket, cooking, rugby are some of the clubs I joined.

Trips And Events

I have been on many trips with the school but my most memorable is definitely Sutherland Lodge. It was my favourite purely because of all the great activities and the fun I had over the weekend.

Sport

As many of my fellow pupils know, I am not a very sporty person. However, I did enjoy doing football in years 3, 4 and 5.

I remember playing with my mates, laughing and messing around and having fun! Miss Walmsley made me laugh too! Doing year and class performances. The best show was Olivia (Year 6 performance). It was really good because it was our last performance and I was an Assistant Director! Also singing with Tas & Aimee in the infants, great memories! I will never forget Old Clee!

Trips And Events

The best trips were when we went to Cleethorpes and looked at different equipment to do with the sea. Rand Farm was really enjoyable when we fed the animals and fed a lamb its milk. Gainsborough Old Hall was ace because we learnt new things about the Tudors and looked at old buildings. As well as that Lincoln was great because we sketched this church and last of all, in Year 6, we went to Hubbards Hills - it was dead funny when we went in the river to do experiments with the River Ludd.

In Year 6, we all went swimming to Cleethorpes Leisure Centre for a treat as we had SATS the week before. It was really fun!

Sport

Cricket, Netball, going to the Sports Hall to play Badminton, Table Tennis every Friday and playing Football (Girls V Boys) were good sporting moments.

Clubs

I enjoyed Craft Club with Miss Walmsley, making new things was really good and Craft Club in Year 5 where we created pictures and decorated them. In Year 3, I used to go to skipping club. It kept me fit and healthy and I enjoyed it especially learning new skills.

Friends

My friends are the best - I love them to bits and will never forget them! Girl Mates: Courtney Muckle (Best Mate), Aimee Brookes, Tasmin Fountain, Yasmin Noble, Ashleigh Burrows, Abigail Thompson, Chloe - Jane Hand, Leila Norris, Hayley Smith, Chloe Smith, Ellie - Mai Patterson, Jessica Linford, Molly - Loveday Drinkell, Harriet Turrell, Mollie Cambell, Sheree Smith, Olivia Swaby, Sophie Hall, Kirsty McLoughlin, Eloise Wood, Holly Partlett.

Happy Memories

My happiest memory is in year 6 when we had a talent show and there were 20 schools who took part. At the end of the competition, they told us the results and my group, Bethany, Deri, Holly, Demi and I, came 7th out of 20. We were a little bit disappointed but we still got a certifacate and then we realised that other people could have a chance to win instead of us...

I don't want to leave Old Clee - it's the best school ever and the teachers have been really, really helpful....

My favourite school trip was Normanby Hall - it was wicked!!!!
My group went into a Victorian classroom and we had to act all day as a Victorian child. They had the three R's which stood for reading, writing and arithmetic. As well as the DEVIL HAND, if you wrote with your left hand that was what it was called, you had to write with your right hand.

Happy Memories

A happy memory is when Charlotte, Sheree and I spotted a ball and raced after it. We all got there at the exactly same time but unfortunately for me, I slid on a streak of mud and fell on my bum! Sheree turned around and saw me lying helplessly on the floor like a starfish! Sheree and I were in hysterics so much that we forgot about the ball and chuckled for a good two minutes non-stop. And of course, Charlotte ended up with the ball!
Also in year five on a table was Sophie Hall, Daniel Stuffin, Alex Hodson-Smith and I. We had the best time ever! Daniel had a rabbit that sadly died, he buried a phone with it and a computer and he has conversations with him on both of them! Alex, Daniel and sometimes I used to call poor Soph' a boff because she always used to get on with her work! Now though, it's me and Daniel who are boffs - and proud!!

People Who've Helped Me

All my friends and many teachers but most of all these special people: Harriet Turrell, Ellie-Mai Patterson, Charlotte Taylor, Sheree Smith, Paige Thompson, Mrs. Lambert, Miss. Walmsley and most of the other members of staff.

Trips And Events

When Miss. Walmsley's class went to Gainsborough Old Hall, Ellie-Mai Patterson, Ben Swain, Danny McKernon and I were all sending letters to each other and throwing them to and fro (although it was a very immature thing to do!) After we arrived at Gainsborough Old Hall, Danny got told off for throwing paper although it was also Ellie, Ben and I!
It was a great trip! I had to dress up as a jester and had to do some tricks.
I also liked it when we went swimming for a year six treat after our SATs - it was ace! I nabbed Alex's froggie!

Sport

Athletics with Mrs. Lambert was very enjoyable. I have just taken part in cross country and came 4th out of 120. It's not bad as we did have to run a mile.

Clubs

Badminton with Miss Hallam has been amazing! I only started in year six, I really wish I started before!
I also went to athletics. I used to love it when we went to the Y.M.C.A!
When Ellie-Mai and I did the six by six race, we caned everyone! Well, Ellie and I always did. We were unbeatable!
Anyway, we were in front but then Ellie fell over! DISASTER! The other schools started to catch up so Ellie picked herself up and carried on racing! GOOD ON YA GIRL!
In the end we won the race by about 10 seconds!! WHOOOOOP!

Friends

Well, there are just too many!
But here are some of the most important ones;
Ellie-Mai Patterson, well, well, well. What amazing laughs we have had during the four years we've been together! Unforgettable and fantastic, that's how I would describe them. I must admit though, we have had our ups and downs but everyone has sometimes.
You have been fantastic and I will really miss you when you go to Matty!

Charlotte Marie Taylor!
Another amazing lass with amazing memories together! I have known you for 6 or 7 years and they have been the best years of my life! I will be with you in Havelock so that's great!

Harriet Olivia Turrell!
H, you have been so fab.

In The Future

I hope all my mates at Old Clee will have an excellent future and stay out of trouble! I will never forget you all!
Stay amazing and good luck!
I wish to be a policewoman or maybe a nurse/doctor. Or anything interesting that rolls in the dosh!
I'LL MISS YOU ALL!!

I love to go and help out at the infants with her as we have made lots of little buddies there. I wish we could still go and help in the infants when we leave.

I know some people better than others but you are all brilliant and none of you change because I like you all the way you are! Vicky you are the best girlfriend in the world - see you at Havo!

There are lots of people who have helped me like my friends and teachers. There are also the TAs who help around in the classroom with our work and other things as well as the teachers.

Happy Memories

I've had lots of happy memories in Old Clee, including making new friends and going on trips, but my favourite memory was when Steph, Vicky and I ACCIDENTALLY broke a door. It was hillarious! Steph got trapped because the door caved in on her!

People Who've Helped Me

I'd like to thank all the teachers who have helped me through all the difficult times I've had at Old Clee. I have been in: Miss Thompson's, Miss Wilde's, Miss Barnes', Miss Ornsby's, Miss Shires' and Miss Stevens' class. I would also like to thank Mr Ward, as he helped me and the rest of the magazine team make a really good magazine.

Trips And Events

Out of all the trips I've been on in Old Clee, Sutherland Lodge was definitely the best. I was in the same room as two of my friends, Steph and Vicky. I had lots of fun there and I would like to go again. I also enjoyed my trip to a nature place (I can't remember what it's called) that I went to in reception. I remember there being a massive climbing frame.

Sport

I don't like many sports, but some I enjoy like swimming, rounders, and dancing (but not if we have to act like trees!)

Clubs

I have been in a few clubs such as sewing club, clay club and girls' football club. I would like to thank all the teachers in charge of these clubs.

Friends

One of my best friends, Emma Fletcher, has been my friend ever since 'Teddies play group'. We used to dress up in high heels and long dresses and pretend we were adults. In year three, I made friends with Stephanie Archer, who is now my best friend. I also have two other friends, Becca Pleasants and Alex Phillips. They have been really kind and are fortunately all going to the same senior school as me.

In The Future

I hope I do well in Havelock - well enough to go to a good college. I might stay at school for a bit more in 6 form because I want to be a vet and that job takes a lot of revising and hard work. I want to earn enough money to buy a big house in Australia and be a vet in an Australia zoo.

Teachers in Juniors were Miss Arnold, Miss Shires, Miss Stevens and Mr Dean and they have helped me too.

Trips And Events

Every year at, Old Clee, I was in a play. It was fun when you found out what part you had been given and actually practicing the play. It would get very exciting when the day came to performing it but I would get nervous also.

Trips were very thrilling and very interesting. I especially liked Hubbards Hills because we got to go in the River Ludd and climb to the top of a very large hill. I did enjoy all the other trips but that one was my favourite.

Sport

I didn't really do much sport but I did join in on sports days and I would come first in some races. I didn't really join sporty clubs though.

Clubs

I didn't go to any clubs. I was going to join some but the closest I got to joining a club was going to guitar lessons. I really enjoyed lessons. I am going to carry on with guitar and the guitar teacher has helped me a lot as well.

I was an assistant director behind stage during our play. In our concert programme, my name was in the choir and not as an assistant director.

Trips And Events

During my time at Old Clee, we have been on many school trips. My favourite school trip was in year six when we went to Hubbard Hills. We went on about four school trips after our S.A.T.s.

Happy Memories

A happy memory was when Mollie, Charlotte, Ellie, Nirvanah, Harriet, Paige, Miss Mayall and I saved a poor pigeon! It was quite funny because Harriet was nearly crying so we decided to parade round the field chanting that we had saved a poor, defenceless, little Pigeon and that Miss Mayall almost murdered it.
Another good memory was when we decided to do 'obstacle courses' and wandered round the field in a row of 6 people linking their legs like you would in a three-legged race. We all just toppled over every single try! It was mint.

People Who've Helped Me

During my time at Old Clee, I had many people who helped me but the people I couldn't have got along without are Mollie Campbell, Ellie-Mai Patterson, Charlotte Taylor, Harriet Turrell, Nirvanah Parker, Paige Thompson, Abigail Thompson, Olivia Swaby, Abi Dunning & even more!
Main Teachers are Miss Shires, Miss Stevens, Mr Ward, Mr Dean & Miss Walmsley. But... my friends have got to be the main people because whenever you're struggling they're there for you. I'm going to miss them all.

Trips And Events

One of the best trips I went on was to Hubbards Hills - it was so funny! In my group there was Ellie, Abi, Tasmin, Chloe, John, Jack, Leighton & me. It was mostly funny because we had a water fight once we had done our work and most of us wore wellies. Once we had finished our water fight, we got out and trudged to the next station with water spurting out of our boots. It was hilarious! We found lots of things on our trip too! We found a frisbee and ball! We were playing with the frisbee when I threw it and it landed in the River Ludd. Lots of people ended up getting told off for trying to fish it out!
Also swimming was good. One day, we all went swimming as a treat for after the SATs! It was a bundle of fun, getting flipped off the floats, BACKWARDS! Go me! I can do backflips in water!

Sport

I started footie even though I didn't know the rules... but I could sort of play. Well... I could dribble, tackle and score - the only problem was that if I got a red card I wouldn't know why!

Clubs

During Old Clee I went to a few clubs although I didn't keep some of them up. I went to badminton, netball for a short time along with skipping and craft club.

Friends

Friends at Old Clee were Mollie Campbell, Ellie-Mai Patterson, Charlotte Taylor, Nirvanah Parker, Harriet Turrell, Paige Thompson, Abigail Thompson and Dunning and Olivia Swaby.

In The Future

Happy Memories

My best ever memory is the talent show!! When we did a dance there were two people out of every class in the school and me and my group(Chantelle,Deri-Jade and Demi and Holly.) We were so lucky we got through everything. There were about 20 schools and when we got the results read to us and we came 7th we were a little upset but our families told us they were still proud of us. We were still very happy though !!! It was mint!!

People Who've Helped Me

In all of my years of being in Old Clee School lots of people have helped me and I would like to thank them...
I reallly don't want to leave Old Clee, I love it here and I will be so sad!!
All of my teachers have helped me. Out of all my years.

Trips And Events

My favourite memory of a school trip is Normanby Hall!! Me and my group went to the school room. We had a chance to experience what it was like to be a Victorian school child. We went up two different stairs to get to the classroom. Boys sat on one side of the room and girls sat on the other. They had the three R's-reading, writing and arithmetic. They called the left hand the devil hand so if you wrote with that you had to try and write with your right hand but if you kept writing with it you would have to have this wooden block on your hand that had holes in it. If you were not sitting up straight you would have to put your arms on this thing but about after 5 minutes it would hurt. If you are going to Normanby Hall I recommend you go into the school room-it is wicked!!! It's the best school trip I have ever been on.

Sport

My favourite sport is basketball, I love it. I play it at home all of the the time. In year 5 me and my best friend Chantelle Brown used to go to the basketball teacher every Wednesday. He came in for 5 weeks but after that people always come in and I nearly got picked for them all!! I love basketball it is ace!!!

Clubs

In year 3 I went to a clay club with Mr Smith it was wicked!! we made lots of statues. Plus you can take them home. It was reallly fun.

Friends

I have lots and lots of best friends!! But my bezzy m8 is Chantelle Brown she is ACE!! We have been best friends for 2 years!! In year 3 and 4 we were best mates too but we split up for a bit but for 2 whole years we have never split up!! And never will.... she is the best ever we always have sleepovers and always borry each others things plus we go to the cinema nearly every weekend!! I nearly have all of my clothes at her house!! She is mint...
Miss you Chantelle love ya xx

In The Future

when I go to the upper school I will miss Old Clee millions!! I will come back after school!! It is the best school ever...I hope to see all of my friends again!

Happy Memories

I've had some embarassing, happy, sad and some hilarious times. Here are some of the happy ones. My most recent memory would be Mr Dean making me laugh constantly everyday in Year 6. He was really funny and made me laugh all the time. In Year 3, I can remember making lots of new friends when I first started. It made me feel overjoyed.

People Who've Helped Me

A lot of people have helped me. Harry Clegg played with me sometimes. Daniel Stuffin always gave me advice on chess.
Mr Dean made me laugh but I think you already know that if you read the Happy Memories section above. All my friends have helped me everyday by playing with me and talking to me. In Year 3, Mr Smith was my teacher. In Year 4, Mrs Marchant-Williams was my teacher. In Year 5, Mrs Lambert was my teacher and finally, in Year 6, the utterly hilarious Mr Dean taught me. Others are Mr Griffiths and Mrs Griffiths (the loyal King and Queen of teaching) and Mr Parkin, he was a Deputy Head teacher but left to work elsewhere. (I will never forget him).

Trips And Events

My most memorable school trip was when we went to Hubbard Hills in Year 6. We had just had terrible weather and we all got soaked. The water got inside people's shoes and wellies. People's shoes kept making squelching sounds when they were walking. Hilarious.

Sport

I enjoyed football, badminton, chess, (more a tactical board game than a sport, but oh well), table tennis, basketball and benchball. They were all really fun and there was a chance to play every single one at least once in my Old Clee Junior School life.

Clubs

In Year 5, I joined Mr Dean's old football club, we had some good times. I went to Mr Ward's Badminton club in Year 4. We had some good times there as well.

Friends

Harry Clegg, Daniel Stuffin, Jack Godley, Ryan Kirkham and Jordan Barber were my best friends. I also had friends who were girls *not girlfriends*. They were Fleur Alcock, Corey-Jaye Sarson and Leanne Groves. My best friend who was a girl was Olivia Swaby.

I have been on lots of enjoyable school trips including Rand Farm Park, Lincoln, Killingholme Power Station and swimming at Havelock School.

I played table tennis with Mr Dean in years 3 and 4. I also played netball in year 3.

I have enjoyed the clubs I've been in including table tennis in years 3 and 4, netball in year 3 and craft club in year 6.

All of my friends have been very helpful. These are Holly Partlett, Sheree Smith, Harriet Turrell, Mollie Campbell and Ellie Arefi.

In The Future

I don't know what I might do in the future. I might become an ice skating coach but I have to see how my education goes first before making a decision.

Happy Memories

My happy memories are when my friend broke a bench, it was really funny and we were all laughing. It was also really funny when we went to Normanby Hall and my mate was getting really freaked out because there were peacocks walking around really close to us.

People Who've Helped Me

People who have helped me before are Mr Smith, Miss Shires, Miss Stevens, Mr Ward, Mrs Griffiths, Mrs Barker and Mr Dean. They have helped with lots of different lessons.

Trips And Events

My favourite trips are when we went to Rand Farm Park and saw all the cute animals and when we went to Normanby Hall. It was really funny when Danielle got scared of the peacocks and when we got to go in all the flower gardens and the huge garden.

Sport

I liked swimming at Havelock school when we went in year 4 with the class to learn how to swim properly. It was a great sport and I enjoyed it. I learnt a new and useful hobby.

Clubs

I did clay club in year 4 with Mr Smith. We got to make lots of decorations with clay to take home. It was lots of fun to do.

Friends

My friends are Cou, Issy, Danni, Chaz.M, Keg, Chazza, Lucy, Steffi, Becky, Chels.H and Demz. My mates are all really funny and are great to be around. They're always there for you and can always make you feel better.♥

In The Future

In the future I am looking forward to secondary school a lot because I think I will enjoy it. I wish to do really well in school and go to college. I would like to become a Hairdresser or work in a really nice clothes shop like Tammy or Internacionale.
